The KAHL expander technology celebrates great success in Taiwan. It seems almost a matter of course that the members of the TFIA (Taiwan Feed Industry Association) put AMANDUS KAHL on the list of companies to be visited during their tour of Europe.
Already in April this year the members of the TFIA started to plan a round trip through Europe. Their visit should focus on companies and suppliers from the feed and meat industry that are of great importance for the Taiwanese market. From October 7 to 11, the focus was finally on company visits in Denmark and Germany - including AMANDUS KAHL.
The visit was accompanied by colleagues from the sales department and our Taiwanese representative. The focus was on the KAHL expander technology for the poultry feed industry as well as the treatment of mono-components. In this context, the approximately 40 association members had the opportunity to view an expander order shortly before delivery (see photos below). In addition, a full-fat soybean treatment plant was demonstrated, as well as the KAHL crushing roller mill and the vacuum coater.
Apart from the presentation of our "Made in Germany" technology, the focus of the visit was also on the exchange of information with industry representatives. Among the participants were not only representatives of feed plants, universities, farms and feed associations, but also long-standing KAHL customers. During the visit AMANDUS KAHL had the opportunity to inform about innovations and to introduce new interested parties to the feed technology.
The Taiwanese market is of great importance for the KAHL expander technology. Twelve expanders are currently used successfully by the feed manufacturer GREAT WALL ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. for broiler and duck feed. The KAHL technology enables, among other things, a better pellet quality, higher press capacities and better nutritional values. The KAHL technology is also becoming increasingly popular in the Taiwanese market for mono-component treatment - an expander line for a new soy product will soon be delivered to Taiwan.
