The thermic NEUHAUS NEOTEC process is used for fluidisable bulk goods. In mass production the primary compound is continuously inserted into the fluidised bed apparatus and brought by air into the condition of an expanding fluidised bed. The product then shows a liquid-like performance. Several supply air zones with different temperatures enable an exact, product suitable drying process, which is, if required, followed by cooling. Products which are difficult to fluidise, such as products having a very high initial moisture value, can be loosened up by vibrating plants (Conti FB). This is often the precondition for allowing fluidised bed drying. For batch-wise processing of minor amounts batch plants are also suitable (Batch FB).
Example of application: Precise adjustment of the final moisture
A wet granulated product or filter cakes produced by centrifugation are thoroughly and effectively dried by the fluidised bed process to stable final moisture values.
